On 24 July 2026, the Burma Research Institute (BRI) hosted the 8th Hybrid Congressional Briefing on Burma in Washington, D.C., United States.
Daw Zin Mar Aung, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government (NUG), and U Moe Zaw Oo, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the briefing. Discussions covered online scams, regional stability, and trade and investment.
